Shantadurga temple: Goa

Shantadurga temple is a beautiful GSB temple dedicated to goddess Shantadurga (Parvati). It is situated at Phonda (around 33 kms from Panaji).

It was originally constructed in 1713 and has undergone several renovations since then.

It is a perfect example of Goan architecture. There exists a water tank alongside the temple as well as a huge deepamala in the courtyard.
